Summer Greens to Detoxify

Summer is here and I am eating green foods and getting into the sun. My favorite green foods in the summer are fresh herbs like basil, parsley and cilantro. I have eaten a fresh herb sauce every weekend since the beginning of summer. I cannot get enough green foods!

Did you know that green foods are detoxifying? Green foods especially foods like cilantro, parsley, and basil get out bad toxins like metals. And they taste so fresh!

Here’s an easy recipe for pesto using fresh parsley and cilantro. These bright green herbs will bring so many antioxidants, powerful flavor & detoxification to any dish. Add it to pasta, steak, chicken, toast, anything!
